Apply smarter, not harder.
Apply at iData centres for tourism, or directly at the Consulate for certain categories.
Insurance must be valid for the entire Schengen Area, not just Germany.
Submit your application no earlier than 6 months and no later than 15 days before travel.
Consistency between bank statements, employment letter, and SGK records is critical.
If visiting family or friends, the formal Verpflichtungserklärung from Germany is highly recommended.
Tourist applications are processed through iData centres in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya, and Gaziantep on behalf of the German missions.

Why applications get refused.
The most common reasons Turkish applicants are refused for Germany. Address each one proactively in your file.
Study, work, and business notes.
Study stays over 90 days require a national (D) visa, not a Schengen Type C.
Employment needs a work-purpose national visa; the short-stay visa does not permit paid work.
Business meetings and trade fairs are allowed; a formal invitation strengthens the file.
